Winning four of the nine matches in straight sets, the Yale tennis team defeated the University players 9-0 Saturday afternoon on the courts of the Brooklawn Country Club in Bridgeport, Conn. The victory over the undefeated Crimson team practically gives Yale the championship of the East, as the University has defeated both Columbia and Princeton.

Singles.--Williams (Y) defeated Ingraham (H) 6-3, 6-3: Jones (Y) defeated Duane (H), 6-2, 6-0: Vaughan (Y) defeated Briggs (H), 6-0, 2-6, 6-3: Symington (Y) defeated Pfaffman (H), 6-3, 2-6, 8-6: Wheeler (Y) defeated Guild (R), 6-3, 1-6, 6-3: Schoonmaker (Y) defeated Bondi (H), 6-2, 6-4.
Doubles--Williams and Jones (Y) defeated Ingraham and Duane (H), 6-0, 5-7, 6-0: Symington and Wheeler (Y) defeated Guild and Pfaffman (H), 6-3, 6-3: Comstock and Vaughan (Y) defeated Dixon and Briggs (H), 4-6, 8-6, 6-4.
