A cheering crowd of ever '300 Freshmen, increased by almost the same number of upper-classmen, gave the University, crew a remarkable demonstration of confidence last night. Led by a band of 40 pieces, collected from the Freshman Dormitories, the parade marched down Mt. Auburn Street and back Massachusetts Avenue to the Subway Rotunda, voicing its enthusiasm with shouts and cheers.

After entering the Yard, where the line halted to cheer the University crew, the Subway entrance was surrounded, and at 9.45 o'clock when the crews and coaches disappeared down the steps, they received a tremendous ovation.
