More than 120 children attended the Harvard Daily Bible School, which was held last Summer at the Pilgrim Church, at Central Square from June 25 to August 2. The school is supported by the Harvard Mission and has been held every summer for the past seven years with the purpose of promoting the social welfare of children, irrespective of their race or creed, by furnishing instruction during the Summer months. Over 2000 such schools have been started in the United States and Canada.
The Harvard School was under the direction of Mr. R. P. Budgman '18, who supervised the instruction of Music, Bible, Hygiene, Calisthenics, and Handiwork. Classes were held every morning from 9 to 12 o'clock with an average daily attendance of nearly 90 students.
