HUPD Chief Says Harvard Yard Encampment is Peaceful, Defends Students’ Right to Protest
Mr. H. K. Messenger will give an informal talk at the first meeting of the Classical Club in the Union tonight. The meeting will be held in the club room at 8 o'clock. Mr. Messenger will speak on "Reading in Seneca". Texts will be furnished at the meeting.
The Harvard Classical Club was organized in 1885, to promote interest in classical studies among the students of the University, and its membership is open to any member of the University pursuing advanced studies in the classics. Members of the faculty and others interested are permitted to attend the meetings. The club holds discussions and readings from the classics, and addresses by prominent men. Meetings are held every other Wednesday in the rooms of members.
