LIVE UPDATES: Pro-Palestine Protesters Begin Encampment in Harvard Yard
Yesterday afternoon for the first time in two years the Yale Freshmen played the University team in a practice game. Though the Freshmen were defeated by two touchdowns it was only after a stiff fight. The Freshmen held the first team for downs on the five yard line, from where they punted out only to be scored on by Pond on the next play.
Captain Lovejoy and Allen were given a rest after their hard work against Dartmouth. The University line-up was: Bingham and Luman ends; Joss and Root, tackles; Eckart and Sturhahn, guards; Burt, center: Bench, quarter; Scott, Cottle, and Pond, backs. One of the ends on the Freshman team, Mallory, is the brother of Captain Mallory of last year's team.
