The University soccer team weakened in the second half and lost its final game of the season to Haverford, 3-0. The game was played Saturday afternoon at Harvardford.

Playing in a steady drizzle on a field ankle deep in mud and water, the Crimson eleven seemed on a par with Harverford in the first half, and missed several chances to scors by close margins. Harverford scored twice in this period, when the breaks of the game went its way, The ball rolled slowly between the posts on a 15-yard kick by Hoag shortly after the start of the game a shot Thomas could have stopped easily, had he not slipped and fallen. Twenty minutes later Barker with the help of the weather tallied again.

With the score 2-0 against Harvard, but with both teams playing equally well, the luck seemed due to turn in the sec

one half. Instead, the Crimson slumped badly, the ball was kept in Harvard territory almost continually, and the backs outdid themselves to hold Haverford to only one more goal.
