CRIMSON CONTESTS DRAW 79--OTHERS MAY REPORT TODAY

The opening of competions in the four departments of the CRIMSON last evening brought 79 aspirants for the board to the CRIMSON building. The editorial competition proved to be the most popular, 32 Juniors taking advantage of their last opportunity to make the paper. The news department, open to the class of 1927 for the first time, had 29 candidates, and 12 Freshmen signified their intention of competing for the business board. The photographic competition, open to Sophomores and Freshmen, begins with 15 potential editors in line.

The chairmen of all four departments will be in the building at 5.30 and any prospective candidates may report at that time without suffering any handicap.
