Freshman Soccer Team Loses

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

For the third time in as many starts the Freshman soccer team went down to defeat before a schoolboy eleven, when Worcester Academy downed the 1929 booters last Saturday, 4-0.

The inexperienced Freshman could make no headway against the Worcester defense, and their own goal was constantly besieged by the shifty forces of the Red and Black.

Louis Kerners '29 and P. H. Rhinelander '29 were the only first-year men who came up to the standard set by the schoolboys.

Team play was the Worcester forte, and consequently it was hard to choose outstanding performers. Bicknell scored half of Worcester's goals and led the attack on the Freshman goal. The other two goals were caged by Stallman, inside right, and Turtado, flashy wingman of the invaders.
