The University polo team won a hotly contested struggle with Essex on Saturday at the Commonwealth Armory by a 10 to 7 score.
Shaw, playing at number one, played a hard, fast game which kept the county team worried. Pinkerton and White at number three and number two, completely outrodo and outshot their opponents, and kept up a barrage of shots at the Essex goal.
The Crimson's victory Saturday gives them a total of two wins and two defeats in the indoor polo league. With the exception of next Saturday's game with the 101st Field Artillery, their indoor schedule is completed until the intercollegiate tournament, on or about March 6.
