"L'Abbe Constantin," a three act comedy based on Halevy's famous novel of the same name, will be presented this evening at 8.15 in Jordan Hall by members of the Cercle Francais in collaboration with the Cercle de Mademoiselle.
The action takes place at the present time at the country Chateau de Longueval and in the house of the neighboring priest. The plot is woych around the love affair between the priest's godson, Jean Reynaud, a young French officer, and Miss Bettina Percival, an American whose sister has bought the Chateau.
The play is being produced by M. Ernest Perrin who is also taking the title-role.
