The Freshman boxing championship bouts were concluded yesterday at the Hemenway Gymnasium when H. F. Hart won the 135-pound championship and E. a. Sack gained the 147-pound title. The championships in the other classes had been settled previously.

In the first semi-final round of the 135-pound class. Hart met E. G. Dennis in three rounds of two minutes each. Hart was awarded the decision by the judges, who were R. E. Lloyd '27, all winners of championships in the University boxing tournament.

The second semi-final round of this class was fought between W. C. Cox and R. H. Fogel. Three fast rounds were fought but no decision could be reached by the judges. An extra round was ordered in which Cox got considerably the better of his opponent and won the bout.

Cox and Hart then contested the championship in the hottest bout of the afternoon. Cox started well, but Hart worked into form in the second round and won the bout and the championship on the judges' decision.

In the finals of the 147-pound class, E. a. Sack defeated L. P. Davis. His superiority was marked from the beginning to the end of the bout.

The complete list of Freshman champions is as follows:

112-Pound Class A. C. Murray.

118-Pound Class J. G. Lyness.

126-Pound Class H. E. Hart.

147-Pound Class E. A. Sack.

160-Pound Class Ira Markwett.

175-Pound Class T. B. Alcock.
