The Crimson wrestlers suffered a double defeat in their invasion of the Brown Bear's territory Saturday evening. The University team was floored by a score of 19 to 6, suffering from the loss of three regulars who were out on account of injuries.
Locke, substituting for Bradford in the heavyweight class, lost to McCrillis of Brown on a fall after one minute and 27 seconds. Falls were won also from Bronstein and Campbell of Harvard, who were substituting for Goldberg and Hayne in the 125 and 175-pound classes.
The Freshmen succeeded in scoring three referee's decisions against an exceptionally strong team, but succumbed 19 to 9. The feature of this match was provided by Spellman in the 175-pound class when he gained a decision over Captain Howe of Harvard, who out-weighed him by 14 pounds.
