The bill sanetioning the proposed footbridge across the Charles River passed the last visible barrier yesterday when after the third reading the state house of representatives ordered it engrossed.
The legislature closes Thursday and all rules have been suspended. As a result of the suspension of rules the Senate is expected to put the bill through in record time.
