At a meeting of the Freshman track squad yesterday afternoon, Albert Henry O'Neil '28, of Jamaica Plain, was elected captain of the 1928 team. O'Neil's election to lead the Freshman runners was almost unanimous.
O'Neil was captain of the Freshman cross-country runners last fall and proved himself the star performer for the harriers by winning the meet against Yale in course record time. Since he came under Coach Farrell's tutelage during the winter he has developed into a promising middle distance man and has yet to be defeated in a Freshman engagement.
O'Neil is president of the class of 1928 and Chairman of the dormitory committees. He prepared for the University at Exeter.
