JUNIORS DOWN SOPHOMORES; FLORIDA TARS BEAT SECONDS

In a hard-fought game, the Junior class eleven defeated the Sophomores by a score of 6 to 0 in Soldiers Field yesterday. The victory keeps clean the 1928 slate, and leaves the team at the top of the standing, with two triumphs and no defeats.

The Sophomores outplayed their opponents completely during the first half, but were prevented from scoring by penalties, which took extremely heavy toll of yard age, and prevented any sustained offense.

In the second half, the 1928 machine got under way and gained ground consistently, passes from Barbee to Allen and Heard preving effective. Barbee went over the line, after a series of offside penalties had brought the 1928 team within the 5 yard line.

Seconds Lose to Tars

Coach Knox's University Seconds bowed before the onslaught of an eleven from the U. S. S. Florida, whose backfield was made up of former Annapolis stars. The score was 13 to 7.

Gore Hall topped McKinlock Hall in an interdormitory game by 6 to 0.
