WHITING CONCERT TONIGHT CLOSES HIS ANNUAL SERIES

Program Tonight Will Include Mozart, Faure, and Schubert

The last of the series of five Expositions of Classical and Modern Chamber Music under the direction of Mr. Arthur Whiting will be held tonight at 8.15 o'clock in Paine Hall of the Music Building.

The program offered for tonight will be equally as varied as those which have preceeded. Mr. Whiting who will be at the pianoforte will be assisted by the Hartman String Quartet consisting of Mr. Arthur Hartmann. First Violin: Mr. Bernard Ocko, Second Violin: Mr. Mitja Stillman, Viola Mr. Lajos Shuk, Violincello.

The program will be as follows:

(String Quartet)

Mozart, 1756-1791--Quartet, E. flat major. I. Allegro. II. Andante con moto. III. Monuetto. IV. Allegro vivace.

(String Quartet)

Schubert, 1797--1828--Theme, "Death and the Maiden," with variations, from Quartet, D minor.

(Violin, Viola, Violincello and Pianoforte)

Faure, 1845-1923--Quartet. C minor op. 15. I. Allegro molto moderato. II. Scherzo. III. Adagio. IV. Allegro molto.
