Professor A. A. Young, professor of Economics in the University, will be absent from Cambridge from April 16 to May 15, while attending the meeting of a committee appointed by the Council of the League of Nations.
The purpose of this committee will be to make plans for an international economic conference which will be held later under the auspices of the League. The committee which will make the plans for this conference, comprises representatives from a number of foreign countries.
In addition to Professor Young, there will be one other American member of the planning committee. This other representative from the United States is Mr. D. F. Houston g'94, former Secretary of the Treasury.
