Whatever the cause of assemblage, it is always to Harvard's advantage to entertain guests. They must perforce contrast what they see here and with what they find at home and elsewhere. The necessary insufficiency of the judgments made, does not render them useless. First impressions will do very well to stimulate thought. Just now Harvard is host to 860 track and field athletes from 32 colleges and universities throughout the country. They constitute a formidable number of observing eves, albeit their main energies will be directed to other purposes. There is a welcome for their words as well as their deeds.
