FRESHMEN STAGE RALLY TO DOWN EXETER, 13 TO 0

43-YARD RUNBACK OF KICK LEADS TO SECOND SCORE

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

After being held scoreless for three periods by the Exeter Academy eleven on Soldiers Field Saturday afternoon, the University first year football team got under way in the final period to score two touchdowns and win by a 13 to 0 count. Both Freshman scores came as a result of long runs. R. S. Ogden, former Milton, player, who was elevated to first string ranking last week, intercepted one of the schoolboy aerial attempts and dashed 65 yards for one of these touchdown, while the other was scored by W. T. Gilligan on a short line thrust after he had run back an Exeter punt from his own 43 yard line to the Academy's eight yard mark.
