41 TO 0

Though the CRIMSON was compelled earlier this fall to announce that it could not spare the space for any further editorials or letters on the subject of the Harvard University Band, the performance of the musicians in the recent games has, been such as to require an exception to the rule.

As one Boston writer phrased it, "the Harvard Band defeated Yale by a score of 41 to 0," and this, to any Harvard man, represents the acme of achievement along any competitive line of endeavor.

The CRIMSON once before tried to praise the work of Harvard's gallant musicians. The effort was misinterpreted. Lest any doubt still exist, let it be said that in the opinion of this paper no Harvard band has exceeded Mr. Holland's cohorts on Saturday in whatever it is that makes a band good.
