All students of the University who are spending their Christmas vacation in either Washington, D. C., or Philadelphia, are invited by the Harvard Club of each city to attend a luncheon especially planned for them.
The Harvard Club of Washington invites all students, who intend to be in Washington on December 31, to attend its luncheon at the University Club of that city.
In Philadelphia the meal will be served in the Bellevue Hotel, Stratford, on December 28. All undergraduates and their fathers are cordially invited.
Nathan Hayward 95, president of the club, will tell of plans for entertaining the Associated Harvard Clubs which will meet on May 17, 18 and 19. At that time crew races will take place between present University eights on the Schuylkill River.
A baseball game is also planned at which the Harvard Band will perform.
Luncheons are annual functions which have proved highly successful in the past. They are generally attended by a large number of undergraduates name for the holidays. Because of the unusual interest attached to the luncheon this year, the attendance is expected to be the largest on record.
