TELEVISION TO BE SUBJECT OF DR. IVES THIS AFTERNOON

At 4 o'clock this afternoon in the large lecture room of the Jefferson Physical Laboratory, Dr. H. E. Ives, of the Bell Telephone Laboratories, will deliver a lecture on "Television."

During recent years, Dr. Ives has been conducting extensive research in the field of electrical transmission of pictures. Instrumental in the development of airplane photography for the Signal Corps, he also distinguished himself by researches in light and color phenomena.

Dr. Ives will explain the most recent and revolutionary invention of the radio world, the complicated process of transmitting and receiving pictures over thousands of miles through the air.

The lecture is open to the public.
