DRAG-NET SPREADS OUT FOR VIOLATORS OF PARKING LAW

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

All night parking of automobiles in and around dormitories will in the future be a costly procedure for students, it was announced yesterday by Captain M. J. Brennan of the Brattle Square Station. The attention of the local constabulary has been roused by an increase in the number of men practicing open air storage for their cars.

To stamp out the crime wave, Brattle Square Station has instituted nightly drives for rounding up offenders. The drag-net captured 32 undergraduate violators during the last week end.

Captain Brennan asserted that the penalty for the parking infraction was a $10 fine. The law requires that no automobile be parked in the dormitory sections at night for longer than an hour or at all without lights illuminated.
