Candidates for the University and class tennis teams, and Sophomore candidates for second assistant manager are called out today, and will meet Coach H. L. Cowles and B. H. Whitbeck '29, captain of the University team, in the Freshman gymnasium at 5 o'clock.

Class tennis was first organised last year. A seven-man team will be formed for each class, the elimination rounds being run off rather early this year, since about 30 men are expected to report from each class. Freshman candidates have already been called out, with about 50 men reporting for practice.

Practice will be held in the Freshman gymnasium for several weeks. The out door courts are being prepared, but unless weather conditions are exceptionally favorable, they will not be available for practice until after the spring recess.
