SIX MEN QUALIFY FOR FINALS IN FRENCH SPEAKING CONTEST

Finals for France-Amerique Medal Are on May 25

In the preliminaries of the French speaking contest for the France-Amerique Medal held last night in Sever 36, the following six men qualified for the finals: C. W. Boyd '29, F. D. Condert '30, W. A. Fowlie '31, R. T. Lyman Jr. '28, G. E. Stone '31, and Norman Winer '29.

These men were selected from a group of 12 who presented themselves for the trials and each of whom gave a speech of five minutes length, in French.

The finals for the medal will be contested in Paine Hall on May 25 at 8 o'clock in the evening.
