HUPD Chief Says Harvard Yard Encampment is Peaceful, Defends Students’ Right to Protest
A series of popular illustrated lectures on important developments and discoveries in various fields of engineering will be given by members of the Staff of the Harvard Engineering School during the second half-year.
The lectures are open to the public and will be given in 110 Pierce Hall on Thursday afternoons at 4.30 o'clock as follows:
February 28--"Modern Methods of Cleaning Air", Professor Philip Drinker.
March 7--"The Transmission of Electricity at High Voltage". Professor C. L. Dawes.
March 14--"Vacuum Tubes and Their Application", Professor E. L. Chaffee.
March 21--"The Deepest Mines in the World", Professor L. C. Graton.
March 28--"The Use of Concrete in Great Structures", Professor L. J. Johnson '87.
April 4--"Modern Steam Machinery", Professor C. H. Berry.
