Losing a hard fought game to Battery A at the Comonwealth Armory on Saturday night by an 8 to 6 score, the Harvard Freshman poloists concluded their indoor season with a moderately successful record.

The Crimson riders were greatly handicapped by the absence of their accustomed mounts, the 12 best ponies owned by Harvard having been shipped to New York in anticipation of the National Indoor Championships in which the University team will compete next Thursday. The Gunners started off vigorously and held a fair margin throughout the first four chukkers. During the fifth period, however, Captain Crispin Cooke '32 of the Harvard horsemen scored two goals and squared the score at five all.

The last chukker was filled with furious riding. Caswell of the Battery A team started things with a beautiful full-stroke goal made at top speed. W. F. Luton '32 soon retaliated with a counter for the Crimson, but Read and Norton put the game on ice for the Gunners with two more scores.

The summary: BATTERY A  HARVARD 1932 Taylor, Caswell, No. 1  No. 1, Luton Goddard, Read, No. 2  No. 2, Castle Kimball Graves, Norton, back  back, Cooke

Score--Battery A 8, Harvard 6, Goals--Caswell 5, Norton 2, Goddard, Cooke 3, Luton 2, Castle. Time--Six 5-minute chukkers. Referee--Walter Vroom.
