PASTEUR DEBATE FINALS TO BE HELD MONDAY MAY 13

Bove. Wolff. Lloyd. Raffa to Compete for French Prize

From the entrants in the preliminaries of the Pasteur Debate which were held recently. P. J. W. Bove '29, H. A. Wolff '29. D. D. Lloyd '31, and A. L. Raffa oeC., were chosen to speak in the finals which will take place Monday. May 13, at 8 o'clock in the Lecture Hall of the new Fogg Museum, it was announced last evening by Professor L. J. A. Mercier.

The judges in the preliminaries were Professor F. C. Packard Jr. '20. Professor R. L. Hawkins '03, and Dr. A. C. Sprague '21. Thus far, no judges have been announced for the finals.

The Pasteur Medal, which is awarded annually by the French Department to the best debater on a subject drawn from contemporary French politics, was first presented in 1898 by Baron Pierre de Coubertin.
