NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The preliminary season for the three University crews was brought to a close yesterday with an informal race from Braves Field upstream to the Cambridge Boat Club.

S. W. Swaim '31 stroked the winning crew to a victory over the shell stroked by P. H. Watts '31, which in turn left the crew with R. I. McKesson '31 setting the beat behind in a hard fought race over the winding course.

The first and second University 150-pound crews will continue rowing this afternoon and will leave tomorrow for Kent School where they will race the first and second Kent crews on Wednesday.

The probable seating of the first eight on Wednesday will be as follows:

First University--Stroke T. N. Perkins '31; 7, M. H. MacKusick '29; 6, F. E. Farnsworth '36; 5, J. Q. Adams '31; 4, W. W. Ames '31; 3, Harper Woodward '31; 2, W. K. Tack '31; bow, R. S. Heiden '29.
