CREWS WILL ROW TECH TOMORROW, SATURDAY

150-POUND AND FRESHMAN CREWS RACE TOMORROW

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Although the consent of Cornell has not yet been procured to allow Tech to enter the Harvard-Cornell race on Saturday, due to the postponement of the races last Saturday, it is expected that Cornell will consent to a triangular regatta since there seems to be no other convenient way to arrange for the Crimson to match up with her downstream rivals.

No Decision Made

No statement on the subject was forthcoming from Cornell rowing authorities at a later hour last night. Tech is very anxious not to miss rowing with Harvard this year, for it is the first time in rowing history that she has ever had a fighting chance to win. If the Ithicans refuse to let her enter the race Saturday, however, it is doubtful if her wish will be gratified, for mid-week races are seldom, if ever, scheduled, and the Engineers and Harvard are both previously engaged for the afternoon of Saturday, May 18.

Rowing has heretofore always stopped a Tech in the middle of May, so that unless the oarsmen prevail on the authorities to allaw them to enter the Poughkeepsie regatta, it is doubtful if they would put off their studies to row Harvard on May 25.

150's and 1932 Race Tomorrow

Although arrangements for the University and jayvee races are still in the air, the 150 pound and Freshman races have been set for 5 and 4:30 o'clock respectively tomorrow afternoon, weather permitting.

If conditions are not suitable tomorrow afternoon, these two races will be put off again to Wednesday at the same time. The former will row the Henley distance, while the Freshman will cover the full mile and 3-4 course.
