To the Editor of the CRIMSON:

In an editorial on the subject of Philosophy A printed October 21st you mention as one cause of the decline of that course the departure of James, Royce, and Munsterberg. May I suggest that it would not have been out of place to recall also the departure of George Santayana from Harvard? In the opinion of many his is the finest and most stimulating philosophic mind that has ever graced the halls of Harvard. Columbia University.   Corliss Lamont.
