The beer barons are bankrupt.

The dream of the WCTC is realized

The chocolate soda has become our national drink.

Our jails are deserted.

Politics has been purified

We lead the world in morality

Law and order prevail in all our land.

No more does beer defile Cayuga's blue when the Spring zephyrs bless our land.

No more does the aroma of malt beverage permeate our Halls of Learning.

No more do Saturday night ale orgies stain the escutcheon of our collegiate honor.

No more does ribald rendition of Sweet Adeline, born of beer, arrest our slumbers.

No more do suds stain student banquet boards.

No more does seductive wine pollute the repasts of our apostles of erudition.

No! Thank God, ten years ago our moral consciousness awakened to destroy these perfidious practices, giving us

BATH-TUB GIN AND FIVE MINUTE WHISKY.
