The history of swimming as an undergraduate sport at Harvard dates from today, when the magnificent new pool receives its baptism under the fire of an intercollegiate meet.

The recent decision to raise boxing to the level of a formal sport at Harvard and the completion of the University's first adequate natatorium, offer convincing evidence of the progress of the policy of all athletics for all: With the completion of the indoor athletic plant and the Dillon Field House, Harvard's athletic equipment will be complete.
