It is altogether fitting that the new Harvard of the House Plan should bear the impress of the best in Harvard's past. Dunster, Lowell, and now Eliot, Kirkland, Leverett, John Winthrop, and Adams are names rich in Harvard tradition and outstanding in Harvard progress. That the seven projected Houses should commemorate them for future generations of Harvard men is both an honor to the men who made famous their names and an augury for the happy outcome of the House Plan experiment.
