DESTRUCTION OF THE POWER PLANT NEARS COMPLETION

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

With the dismantling of the one remaining chimney well under way, the destruction of the Power Plant on Boylston Street is progressing rapidly.

At the present time the filling station that formerly stood on the corner of Boylston Street and Memorial Drive, has been taken down, and on that site a workman's shanty is being built, preparatory to the actual construction of House Unit 3 which is to begin in the near future. Inside the plant the machinery has disappeared, and workmen are busy tearing down the walls of the Plant itself.
