Hidden talent among House plan harriers will come to light tomorrow afternoon when aspiring distance runners from the seven units race over a mile course on Soldiers Field.
The event is open to House members who have not won a University letter in cross country or for distance running in track. Prizes will go to the first five men to finish; and the first five to cross the line for each House will constitute its team. No further House events in cross country are planned for this season.
Contestants may make entries in the track room at Dillon Field House before 3.10 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Competitors will gather there at 3.20 o'clock and the race will start shortly afterwards. Average time for the course to be run, around Soldiers Field inside the fence, is slightly under ten minutes.
