COMMITTEE DROPS PLANS FOR SMOKER AT McKINLOCK HALL

Lack of Interest Brings Abandonment of Affair

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Lack of interest has brought about the definite postponement of the McKinlock Hall smoker. This statement was made yesterday by Kent Sanger '34, president of the Dormitory Committee of McKinlock Hall.

Last November the dormitory committee voted to hold a smoker: a budget was decided on, and a collection begun. The results of this collection were disappointing, for after other obligations had been met, it was discovered that there were insufficient funds for a smoker.

With the funds that remain the committee has made tentative plans to purchase ash trays with, and to distribute them among the members of the dormitory.
