SPRING FOOTBALL STRESSES PLAYS FOR OFFENSIVE GAME

Attention on Blocking, Fundamentals in Practice Yesterday

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Plays which will be the basis of next year's offensive game were stressed in yesterday's spring football practice, which was held on the Freshman field. Light scrimmage was conducted for about half an hour between two practice teams. Especial emphasis was laid on all forms of blocking in yesterday's workout. The various fundamentals will be the chief object of drill for the remaining period of practice.

Carrying even further Harvard's policy of not over-emphasizing out-of-season work, there will be no division of the men into three camps for competitive drill as previously announced. It is possible that in the final week of practice there may be one or two games between teams picked from the men who have turned out. This reduces the amount of competitive work far below what it has ever been before.
