For the first time since the Germanic Museum has been open to the public, the large tile tank in the northern court of the building will be filled, and provided with fauna and flora in the form of large, "pond-size" goldfish, and Japanese water-lilies. The announcement, which was made yesterday, indicated that the operation would be completed within the week. The lilies and a dozen fish have been ordered through the University Maintenance Department from a New England conservatory, while an anonymous donor has given four additional goldfish. The latter are peculiar in that they must be given a private bath every fortnight.
