Two five o'clock workout classes, open without charge to all members of the University, begin today at Hemenway Gymnasium and the Indoor Athletic Building. The class at Hemenway is under the direction of John Wallen, while that on the third floor of the New Athletic Building is in charge of W. A. Nelson.
The classes have been held for several years, and have proved an increasingly popular form of exercise for men who have little time to spare. Calisthenics and exercises for all parts of the body are carried on with musical accompaniment.
Saturday mornings from 10 to 11.30 o'clock for the rest of the winter the swimming pool and various exercise facilities in the New Athletic Building will be reserved for the use of sons of faculty members, aged 6 to 16. Classes in swimming, boxing, wrestling and games will be given.
