COUNCILMEN TO DECIDE ON FATE OF ROGER'S BUILDING

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Now under way in the City legislature is the bill appropriating $250,000 for the erection of a new fire station where the Rogers Building now stands. Contrary to the report of the Boston Herald, there is still doubt as to whether the bill will pass. The Cambridge city council has already met three times to discuss the appropriation, and Mayor R. M. Russell '14 has received much opposition from tax payers.

Final action will take place on Friday, December 27. At the coming meeting, the 15 councilmen will vote. If ten councilmen are in favor of the bill, Rogers Hall will soon be torn down.
