As the result of Saturday's game Francis Crane appeared at left guard on the Varsity team "A" yesterday, replacing George Gulian, while Charley Nevin has been moved to team "B," with Francis Lane taking his place at right half on team "A," and Fergy Locke filling Lane's former position.

Apparently Coach Eddie Casey felt that the Bates game was a fairly good test for his squad. Not only did he make these team "A" changes but he also cut three men from the squad, reducing it from 45 to 42. Kopans was not in the Varsity lineup yesterday but will be ready for action today. He received a very minor injury on Saturday and was given a day's layoff. Neither Moseley, Pescosolido, nor Peter reported for practice.

Practice yesterday afternoon consisted of the usual drills followed by a short scrimmage in which the Varsity had the ball all the time. The team "A" lineup yesterday was as follows: White, l.e.; Francisco, l.t.; Crane, l.g.; Casey, c; Gundlach, r.g.; Burton, r.t.; Nazro, r.e.; Wells, q.b.; Locke, l.h.; Lane, r.h.; Dean, f.b.
