Starting Monday, the CRIMSON will run a series of feature articles for the benefit of Freshmen about to choose their Houses and concentration fields. In addition the CRIMSON will be publishing necessary information from University Hall relative to these selections and other important matters.
On successive days articles on the Houses will appear in alphabetical order, each written by the Chairman of one of the House committees, giving an idea of the activities and general character of his House, for the benefit of first-year men still undetermined as to their preference. The chairmen are as follows: Adams House, A. B. Gardiner, 3rd '33; Dunster House, S. H. Stackpole '33; Eliot House, B. K. Bachrach '33; Kirkland House, W. A. Schroeder, Jr. '33; Leverett House, W. A. Huppuch '33; Lowell House, B. S. Wood '33; Winthrop House, C. J. Fleming, Jr. '33.
The second innovation will be an article on each of the concentration fields, written by a Senior in high standing in his field for the purpose of giving the Freshmen such information as they might wish on the fields. These will be particularly valuable in view of the fact that the University authorities will not publish their usual pamphlet on the concentration fields this year.
The final date for signing up for a House is Saturday, April 15, while the deadline on handing in the choice of a concentration field comes on Thursday, April 13.
