Kirtley F. Mather, professor of Geology, last night inaugurated a new venture in visual education at the Fine Arts Theatre, when the first of a series of programs to be presented by the Adult Education Council of Greater Boston was given, in cooperation with George Kraska, manager of the theatre.

Professor Mather explained the value of the films as a method of education and stated that the new enterprise attempted to improve the motion picture industry through constructive progress rather than by destructive boycott. Two short features, one in the field of geology, prepared by Professor Mather, and the other dealing with music, were presented on the program.
