With a boundless faith in Lady Luck and the optimism that comes from its own recent improvement, Eddie Casey's young Varsity squad will head southward this morning to get its first look at the dangerous Bulldogs that reside in New Haven.

Every one of the 37 men on the squad is in fine shape for the approaching conflict, and is on his toes for a chance to blast the myth of Yale's inspired greatness. Optimism runs through the whole Crimson camp despite the unfavorable predictions that are being made by most of the "inside dopesters."

For though no one is fooling himself into thinking that an outfit capable of defeating Princeton will be a set-up for much-defeated Harvard, nevertheless the general feeling is that the underdog has a big psychological advantage, and the Varsity will certainly be the technical underdog tomorrow. Furthermore, the heads-up ball the Varsity has been displaying all this week means that the Crimson won't be asleep to any advantages that come its way--be they psychological or material.

So the outlook isn't so black as it appeared two weeks ago after the catastrophic Army affair. Harvard will have to play better football than it has demonstrated at any time previously this year, but both coaches and team seem to feel that they are capable of doing so in this crisis.

The starting lineup will be: Dubiel, le; Burton, lt; Brookings, lg; Comfort, c; Gundlach rg; Adlis, rt; Kelly, re; Haley, qb; Moseley, lhb; Watt, rhb; and Jackson, fb.
