HUPD Chief Says Harvard Yard Encampment is Peaceful, Defends Students’ Right to Protest
Two series of lectures on German literature and culture have been announced by Carl Vietor, Kuno Francke Professor of German Art and Culture. They will be held at 4.30 o'clock in the Germanic Museum and are open to the public.
The first lecture of the series entitled "Das Biid des Menschen in Goethes Dichten und Denken", was held last Monday while the remaining two are as follows:
November 4--Der Mensch Uber der Nature.
November 18--Der Sinn des Lebens.
The second series wil not begin until November 25 when Professor Vietor will present the first part of his second topic, "Die Krise der Europaischen Kultur im spiegel der Deutschen Literature". The part will be given on December 2.
