Featuring brief scrimmages, Coach Adolph Samborski in rapidly whipping his Freshman basketball quintet into shape for its opening game against the Boston university Freshmen Wednesday.

Since he has reduced his squad to 15, rapid strides have been made toward developing the individual players. In Tread Ruml, former Exeter letterman, and Horrigan he has two fairly even centers. Ruml shows a slight edge, however, in that he is also a capable forward. Ulysses Lupien, quarterback on the Freshman football team, and MacLeod make a pair of strong guard.

Although he has not disclosed the starting lineup against B. U., Samborski has named ten possible starters who will probably constitute the first and second teams. As guards he lists MacLeod, Lupien, Heckel, and Jessup. Centers Ruml and Horrigan. Forwards--Dobbyn, Rabenold, Grondahi, and Howell.
