TWO HOUSES TO BE RAZED TO CLEAR APPROACH TO LOWELL

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

To provide a more dignified approach to Lowell House, the University will raze during the coming summer the two houses which it owns on Holyoke Place known as 7 Holyoke Place and 68 Mt. auburn Street, it was announced yesterday.

No plans are on foot to rebuild this site, but it will be fenced in and planted. The result will be to open up the view of the Tower and facade of Lowell House.
