Before a gathering of 100 at the Varsity Club yesterday noon Coach Dick Harlow praised the spirit of the football squad this spring and predicted a team for the coming season "of which the undergraduates would not need to be ashamed."

He said, however, that it was too early to predict just what kind of team it would be. Harlow declared that the attendance averaged 60 a day, and thanked the other coaches for sending men to him after they had finished their other sports.

Richard C. Floyd '10, president of the club, presided and introduced Rae Crowther, the new line coach, and Mike Palm, the new backfield coach.

Coach Fred Mitchell spoke about the baseball team and about the spring trip. He said that the team enjoyed a successful southern trip.
