Lowell House will indulge in its vernal dancing party on May 10 to the tunes of Larry Funk and his band of a Thousand Melodies. Always in search of piquancy, the Lowell Committee announces that this will be a "Comics Carnival," everyone being urged to appear in the guise of his favorite funny-paper character.
In addition to the regular orchestra, a singing trie will be featured, and also lovely Muriel Sherman, who is positively guaranteed to please the chilliest male.
The patronesses are Mrs. Julian L. Coolidge, Mrs. S. P. Baker, Jr., Mrs. James B. Munn, Mrs. Philip P. Chase, Mrs. V. D. Culver, Mrs. B. F. Jones, Mrs. Davis M. DeBard, Mrs. O. G. Bates, and Mrs. T. R. Morse.
